He is from kaduna state, Kauru Local Government Area, Kaibi by tribe, in North Central Nigeria where he was born and raised. Ambassador M.Y began singing with Mr. Sheks JP and later join praise team of Faith Baptist Church gwarimpa Abuja. He sings in Hausa, English and Kaibi his language.
