Victor Ojonugwa Onoja, professionally known as Victor.O, is a Lagos-born gospel artist, born on January 22nd, in the late 1990s, in Lagos, Nigeria. As the second of seven children and originating from the Igala-speaking part of Kogi State, Nigeria, Victor’s upbringing was deeply rooted in both music and Christian values.

From an early age, Victor exhibited a profound interest in music, drawn to its captivating melodies and rhythms. Growing up in a household where church activities were central, he was immersed in gospel music, igniting his passion for singing.

Victor’s musical journey commenced during childhood, where he eagerly participated in choir practices and church services, fully immersing himself in the musical realm. At the tender age of nine, he discovered his innate vocal talent and, alongside two friends and his immediate younger sister, formed the acclaimed music group, “Divine Voice.” Their performances, notably at the adult church every first Sunday and during special occasions at children’s church services, showcased their exceptional musical prowess.

Despite pursuing higher education at Espam Formation University in Cotonou, Benin Republic, where he majored in International Relations, Victor’s dedication to music never waned. Throughout his academic pursuit, he remained steadfast in honing his musical craft and sharing his gift with others.

Today, Victor.O stands as a distinguished gospel artist, seamlessly blending his cultural heritage with his unwavering faith through his music. With a voice characterized by sincerity and passion, he continues to captivate audiences worldwide, inspiring and uplifting listeners with his soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
