This song is a deep posture — being obedient to the Holy Spirit and living with an awareness that our days are numbered.
It echoes Psalm 90:12: _“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”_
When we count our days, we stop wasting them on what doesn’t matter, and we become more sensitive to the Spirit’s nudges — to forgive quickly, speak truth kindly, walk away from compromise and love God
