ADA EHI (Nigerian Gospel Artist) Ada Ehi (Nigerian Gospel Artist)
“Ada Ogochukwu Ehi“ known by her stage name “Ada Ehi” was born on the 18th September 1987. She is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, recording and performing artist.
At the age of 10, “Ada“ was selected to be a member of the Girls band of Nigerian child star Tosin Jegede. She is a graduate of Lagos State University where she studied Chemical & Polymer Engineering, during which she joined the “Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship“. She later on then joined the Christ Embassy Choir where she grew steadily until she became a member of the Christ Embassy Presidential Choir.
She met her husband, “Moses Ehi“, in Christ Embassy church during one of her rehearsal sessions while still in the university. She married in 2008 and the couple is blessed with two children. She, later on, joined “Loveworld Records” in 2009.
Her Debut Album “Undenied“ was released in November 2009 while her second album “Lifted & So Fly“, which became a double-disc album was released in November 2013. She released her third studio album titled “Future Now“, on October 16, 2017, and claimed the no.1 spot on iTunes Nigeria the same day.
In 2017, she was listed in YNaija‘s list of “100 Influential Christian Personalities in Nigeria.” She won the 2017 “Groove Awards” for west African Artist of the Year; being nominated alongside “Frank Edwards, Sinach, Joe Praise and the preachers.” In 2019, “ONLY YOU” by Ada Ehi was also listed as one of the 20 most viewed Songs of the decade from Nigeria.
She will release her fourth album “Born Of God” on December 12, 2020
